S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D. C. 20555-0001

Dear Chief:

I strongly urge a full public hearing on the health, and safety concerns raised by Randy Illinois.

Robarge, and Edwin Dienethal, relative to the Zion Nuclear Power station in Zion I think it is incumbent on you to make every effort to ascertain the truth of the situation.

I have reviewed a copy of the intervention materials filed with the NRC by Mr.

Dienethal and Mr. Robarge. These materials raise serious and significant safety concerns ]

which must be reviewed at a heanng.  ;

=

i The proposed changes to Plant Zion's license, which will result in the loss of safety-related jobs and the loss of full-time radiation protection stafling, cannot be a implemented until all of the concerns raised in the intercension papers have been fully properly adjudicated.  ;

May I please hear from you accordingly? l' i

Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Sincerely, i
