COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 CONDENSATE STORAGE TANK OVERPPESSURIZATION SDAR: CP-87-28 (SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT)
Gentlemen:
On December 2,1987, we notified you by our letter logged TXX-6992 of a deficiency involving the ca)acity of the condensate storage tank CST),which we determined to be reporta)le under the orovisions of 10CFR50.55 e). Our most recent report on this issue, logged TXX-88272, was submitted on March 4,1988. This report is submitted to update the corrective action completion schedule for this issue.
Actions taken to resolve this deficiency (described in TXX-6992) consist of adding a safety-related control feature for the CST level transmitters which isolates CST makeup using redundant safety grade valves when the CST high level setpoint is reached.
Corrective actions for Unit I have been rescheduled for completion by July 25, 1988.
The completion schedule for Unit 2 will be prior to Unit 2 hot functional testing.
