It was a pleasure meeting you during the April 7, 1988 Commission meeting on medical quality assurance rules.
I want to thank you personally and on behalf of my fellow Commissioners for your valuable contribution to the freeting.
Your extensive knowledge and advice to us on the quality assurance issue will, I am sure, assist in providing improved regulations that better serve the public.
I particularly appreciate your iritiative and effort to assess our proposed rule on quality assurance by utilizing it in a pilot program.
As a result of the meeting, the Commission has requested that the staff develop a more performance-based approach to the proposed medical quality assurance rules.
