I want to thank you personally and on behalf of my fellow Commissioners for your valuable contribution to the meeting.
Your extensive knowledge and advice to us on the quality assurance issue will, I am sure, assist in providing improved regulations that better serve the public.
E As a result of the meeting, the Commission has requested that the staff develop a more performance-based approach to the proposed medical quality assurance rules.
I also want to thank you as a member of the Advisory Comittee on the Medical Uses of Isotopes (ACMUI), for your valuable advice to our staf f on technical and policy matters related to the regulation of nuclear medicine and radiation therapy.
