REVIEW OF TECHNICAL EVALUATION REPORT FOR PROPRIETARY INFORMATION (TAC No. M94035, WCAP-14449-P)
Dear Mr. Sepp:
Enclosed is a draft technical evaluation report (TER) written by ldaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory (INEEL) regarding the review of WCAP-14449-P, " Application of Best Estimate Large Break LOCA Methodology to Westinghouse PWRs with Upper Plenum injection." This draft may be restructured in its final form to reflect resolution of issues, reconciliation of proprietary content and reformatting; however, the general content is not expected to change substantially. The staff requests Westinghouse evaluate and annotate the draft TER for proprietary information by October 30,1998. Proprietary information will be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with the criteria listed in 10 CFR 2.790, "Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding."
