VENDOR LIST FOR SUPPLIERS / MANUFACTURERS OF FASTE'.. s Supplement No. 1 to NRC Compliance Bulletin No. 87-02, "Fasteaer Testing to Determine Confonnance with Applicable Material Specifications" was issued on April 22,1988.
In part, the supplement requests holdert of operating licenses or construction permits to submit the names and addresses of suppliers and manufacturers of safety-related and non-safety-related fasteners for the past 10 years.
A copy of the bulletin supplement is enclosed.
To enable the NRC to have a complete list of vendors who hase supplied or manufactured fasteners for the nuclear industry, you are requested to submit a comprehensive list of the names and addresses of suppliers and manufacturers from which your company has purchased fasteners for use in safety-related as well as non-safety-related applications at nuclear facilities over the past 10 years. This list should be submitted to the Director, Division of Reactor Inspection and Safeguards, within 60 days from the receipt of this letter.
Please submit a copy of the list to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Document Control Desk, Washington, D.C.
