VENDOR LIST FOR SUPPLIERS / MANUFACTURERS OF FASTENERS Supplement No I to NRC Compliance Bulletin No. 87-02, "Fastener Testing to Determine Conformance with Applicable Material Specifications" was issued on April 22, 1988.

In part, the supplement requests holders of operating licenses or construction permits to submit the names and addresses of suppliers and manufacturers of safety-related and non-safety-related fasteners for the past 10 years. A copy of the bulletin supplement is enclosed.

To enable the NRC to have a complete list of vendors who have supplied or manufactured fasteners for the nuclear industry, you are requested to submit a comprehensive list of the names and addresses of suppliers and manufacturers from which your company has purchased fasteners for use in safety-related as well as non-safety-related applications at nuclear facilities over the past 10 years. This list should be submitted to the Director, Division of Reactor Inspection and Safeguards, within 60 days from the receipt of this letter.

Please submit a copy of the list to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission Document Control Desk, Washington. D.C.
