Dear Mr. MacDonald:
We request an extension of six mon d s to provide the additional information you requested for the renewal of Type B certificate 9163 issued for the Gulf Nuclear GNG-20.
We do not presently have the resources to provide all the additional information requested for this package as we are not the original manufacturers. And we have had difficulties getting required information from Gulf Nuclear.
We therefore request an extension until 31 March 1989 to allow us to provide you with the required information for this package. At that time we will be able to submit a consolidated application.
We would appreciate a prompt response to this request as one of our customers has been told by an NRC inspector that he cannot ship this package. We would like to l
keep all our new customers in compliance with NRC regulations.
