COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STM10N (CPSES) 00cKET N05. 50 445 AND 50-446 SERVICE WATER SYSTEM WATER HAMMER 50AR: CP-87-130 (StlPPLEMENTALREPORT)
Gentlemen:
On January 6, 1988, we notified you via our report logged TxX-88034 of a reportable deficiency involving Service Water System water hammer and column separation at the inlet and outlet of the emergency diesel generator jacket water coolers which can occur subsequent to a service water pump trip. Our last report was logged TXX-88459, dated May 13, 1988. The purpose of this supplemental report is to update the corrective action implementation schedule for this issue.
The estimated completion date for installation of vacuum breakers in the Unit I emergency diesel generator jacket water coolers has been revised to December 13, 1988.
The completion schedule for Unit 2 has not changed.
