Dear Mr. Sanderson:
This letter is in response to your letter of August 10, 1988, to Mr. Victor Stello Executive Director for Operations, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), in which you requested comments on proposed Environmental Protection Agency guidelines for implementing provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act.
The NRC staff has reviewed the guidelines as requested and has no substantive coments. I comend EPA for providing requirements that are comprehensive, clearly written, and that can be met readily by the affected agencies.
