Configuration Management Program Schedule Toledo Edison Company (TED) provided a Configuration Management Program (CMP) schedule in letter Serial No. 1454 dated December 18, 1987. The status and schedule for the individual products of the CMP vere provided.
Attached is a table to provide updated status on each of the products.
One of the tasks, the Design criteria Manual (DCM), vas targeted for completion on 4/15/88.
Completion by this date was based on nominal TED comments needing to be resolved and/or incorporated into the DCM by Bechtel Pover Corporation prior to issuance.
A TED review of the Civil Engineering section of the DCM vas conducted in January, 1988. The review concluded that a substantial amount of vork remained prior to issuing the DCH so that its contents vould be complete and usable for performing new designs as well as being able to discern which "historical" design approaches vere used for existing plant configurations.
Due to the substantial vork remaining to resolve TED's initial reviev comments on the Civil Engineering section, the target date for completion of the DCM has been changed to June 30, 1988.
The schedule for completion of the DCM vas not intended to support design engineering for vork to be completed during the 5th refueling outage (RFO).
As a result of the delayed start of the 5th RF0, the 6th RF0 is nov expected to commence on July 6, 1990.
Since final detailed design engineering to support the 6th RF0 vill not have commenced prior to June 30, 1988, the new target for completion of the DCH supports maximum use of this design tool.
