The United States Emichment Corporation (USEC) has revised the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Flant (PORTS) Nuclear Assurance Corporation (NAC) Remote Link automatic data processing
+
(ADP) security plan. The revised plan, titled "NAC Remote Link, Automated Information System Security Plan, No. NAC 135-PL-320, Revision 1," incorporates modifications to reformat the plan in accordance with the current NAC format and to reflect chrnges in site personnel. The revised security plan supersedes "NAC Remote Link, Automated Information System Security Plan, No.
NAC 135-PL-320, Revision 0," dated August 28,1995, which was previously approved by the Department of Energy (DOE). The revised security plan is provided in Enclosure 1 for Nuclear Regulatory Con. mission (NRC) approval in accordance with 10 CFR 95.49. PORTS will continue i
to operate the NAC Remote Link computer system in accordance with the existing DOE approved security plan until NRC approval of the revised plan is received (this point has been discussed with i
NRC and DOE staff and verified to be acceptable). As additional personnel are granted access to the NAC Remote Link Automated Information System, the list of those approved for access to the system will be revised and maintained at the PORTS su cong with all associated documentation (e.g., Security Agreement and Password Receipt Acknowledgement forms).
I Note that the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) signature in Part G on Page 35 of the Plan serves as the certification of the information provided in Attachment 2 of the Plan.
