Dear Mrs. Busick:
Enclosed please find a February 11, 1986 letter from Westinghouse Electric Corporation requesting an anendment to export license XSNM01431 to increase the quantity of material duthorized for export to Taiwan for use as fuel in the fourth reload for both the Madnshan Units 1 and 2 Nuclear Power Plants plus four spare fuel assemblies. This represents an increase of 1,709 kilograms U-235 and 53,401 kilograms uranium total.
A letter of assurance is required.that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement.for cooperation. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurance letter will be appreciated.
