Energy Researen Institute (JAERI)you requested that the Japan Atomic In your letter of August 3,1988 be pemitted to use 3.555 kilograms of uranium enriched to 93D% U-235, originally exported under license XSNM01909, for the refuelling of the Japan Research Reactor No. 4 (JRR-4).
Your request was reviewed by the Department of State, by other Executive Branch agencies, and by this office. All agencies agree to the proposed change in end use.
You may advise JAERI that the use of the 3.555 kilograms of uranium for refuelling the JRR-4 has been authorized.
