SUBJECT:
SEABROOK SER SUPPLEMENT NO. 8 Attached is a draft copy of Seabrook SER Supplement No. 8 for your review and concurrence. SSER No. 8 updates the review status of the Seabrook facility and consitts of various inputs we have received from members of your st&ff during the past year. This supplement is intcaded to support issuance of a 5%
license for Seabrook-Unit 1 and wculd be issued with a 5% license. We are planning to be ready to issue a 5% license for Seabrook in mid to late October 1988; therefore, you are requested to provide your concurrence (or any coments
.or corrections) regarding SSER No. 8 to P01-3 by COB, September 15, 1988.
SSER No. 8 does not include an update to the emergency planning section.
The emergency planning section will be updated, as appropriate, following the expected Comission decision on the proposed emergency planning rule change.
The emergency planning s2ction will then be rc,uted separately for review and concurrence.
