APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO OPERATING LICENSE Pursuant to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Duquesne Light Company hereby requests that the Technical Specifications set forth in Appendix A of the license be amended to add section 3.9.14 and associated bases and revise Design Feature Sections 5.3.1 and 5.6.1 to setforth fuel assembly U-235 enrichment limits on fuel storage in the new and spent fuel racks.
The proposed technical specification change is provided in Attachment A
to this Application.
A safety analysis is provided in Attachment B.
A No Significant Hazard Evaluation is provided in Attachment C.
Based on the guidance provided by the commission, the proposed changes have been determined to involve no significant hazards consideration in accordance with 10 CFR 50.92.
