a Page 2 The purpose of this modification is to obligate $19,000 to JC D1035 (Repository Program),
correct an error in G.1, Overhead and G8A Rates to indicate the correct final FY97 rates, and show the new funds amount of $250,000 for TWRS (these funds were obligated earlier and were included in total obligated amounts shown, but due to an administrative oversight, were not shown under the TWRS Job Code.). Accordingly, the following changes are made:
Section B.2.C.b and d ate revised to show the new obEgated amount of $12,612,270, to add
$19,000 to Job Code D1035 (High-Level Waste Repository Program), and to show new funds, which were previously obligated, in the amount of $250,000 for Tank Waste Remediation, Job Code J5164, as shown on the attached change pages 5 and 6.
l Section G.1.E is revised to show correct final rates for FY97 as 72.42% for CNWRA and 141.11% for SwRI as shown on attached change page 25.
All other terms and conditions of this contract. including the ceiling amount for the second renewal period of $87,611,477.00, remain the same.

Review and where required by the contract, approval of technical reports, drawings, specifications and technical information to be delivered by the CNWRA to the Government under the contract.

Technical direction must be within the stated scope of work. Project Officers, Program Element Managers, Technical Assistance Sponsor, NRC CMWRA Program Manager, and NRC CNWRA Deputy Program Manager do not have the authority to and may not issue any technical direction which:

Shifts work between job codes.
2.
Constitutes an assignment of additional work outside the general scope of the individual job code / major program area / subtask.
