INSPECTION NO. 999-90001/98-013
Dear Mr. Higgins:
On August 7,1998, C. Thor Oberg of this office conducted a safety inspection at Robesonia, Pennsylvania of activities authorized by the general license contained in 10 CFR 40.22. The inspection was limited to a review of a report of radioactivity found in waste transferred to a hazardous waste facility. Additional information provided in the telephone conversations on
' August 11 and 12,1998, between Leo Johnson of your organization and this office was also examined as part of the inspection. The findings of the inspection were discussed with you and Leo Johnson of your organization at the conclusion of the inspection. The enclosed report presents the results of this inspection.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules and Practices," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed report will be placed in the Public Document Room. No reply to this letter is required.
