Gigliotti, UNC, 10/28/86, Same Subject Reference (1), pertaining to the removal of an administrative office trail-er which was made a part of the UNC Naval Products Material Access Aret.

in 1984, requires UNC to receive written approval from NRC prior to re-moving said trailer.

This reference further requires UNC to submit a plan to ensure no SNM is contained in the trailer or any part of the connect-ing passageway.

Reference (2)' requested NRC approval to remove the trailer and provided the required description of the measures to be emp'oyed to assure no SNM was in the trailer to passageway.

Reference (3) contained NRC's approval of 'the safeguards measures and approval to remove the trailer.

$o For reasons beyond control at the time, the decision was made to leave Mf@

the trailor in place and, therefore, NRC was not notified of its removal.

mb As of this date, however, the trailer has been vacated and UNC desires to remove it from the protected Area.

Accordingly, approval is requested 8%
