1. provides the manufacturer's p ump curve for fuel pool cooling pump 01 A.

The manufacturer's pump curve for fuel pool cooling pump 01B is identical.

2. provides in table fo rmat the-reference dif ferential pressure ( d/ p) versus actual d/p data which is used to trend the pump test data.

The reference d/p is obtained during surveillance ' testing i

by measuring the flow rate then obtaining the d/p from the WCCS fuel pool cooling pump curves in Attachment 4.

The pump curves in Attachment 4 were the curves used to obtain the re fe rence values provided in Attachment 3 and the table below.

The punp curve for PEC01 A was recently revised to more closely reflect the actual pump pe r fo rmance.

The pump curve for PEC01B was recently' revised as a result of replacement of the pump impeller.

The design flow value of 32,500 gpm given in letter dated June 29, 1988 was a typographical error. The correct value is 3,250 gpm.

4. provides the WCCS specific fuel pool cooling pump curves.

These curves are the sets of values which are used to d e t e rmine the re fe rence value when surveillance testing is conducted on these pumps.

The following provides the specific testing conditions during the surveillance testing of these pumps.
