This is to advise you that the Commission has not objected to the staff's proposal to partially fund study number Vll of the biological effects of ionizing radiation (BEIR Vil). The staff should conaider insights gained from the BEIR Vil study as it develops the rulemaking for clearance of radioactive materials.
