Dear Mr. MacDonald:
1 This letter requests that the above referenced Certificate of Compliance be amended.
Enclosed are eight (8) copies of the following for your reviou:
Hittman Drawing C001-5-9138, Rev. 12, "Assembly Transportation Shield Model HN-100 Series 3 Certification" Mittman Draring C001-5-9140, Rev.
9, "Weldment Primary Lid HN-100-3 Transportation Shield certification" Hittman Document STD-R-02-001, Rev. 16, "Safety Analysis Report for the HN-100 Series 3 Radwaste shipping Cask'!
Goction 5.2, "Shield Plug Gasket" of Mhe Safety Analysis Report, and Appendix A have been re: vised to reflect inside and outside diameter gasket dimensions which' center the gasket on the bolt circle.
It should be noted that theJwidth, thickness, durometer, and material specification forothis gasket have not been changed.
Accordingly, this small change in the gasket inside and outside diameters does not significantly affect the I
overall design of the gasket.
That is, the gasket compression under normal operating conditions has not changed significantly

The above referenced drawings have been revised to more clearly reflect the location of the shield plug gasket, studs, and alignment pins.
Enclosed you will find a check in the amount of $150 for fees associated with processing this request for amendment to the Certificate of Compliance.
