COMMENT RESOLUTION in their vote sheets, Chairman Jackson and Commissioner Diaz approved the subject paper without comment. Commissioner McGaffigan approved in part and disapproved in part and provided editorial changes to the report. Subsequently, the NRC staff revised the Price-Anderson report to reflect changes discussed during an August 3,1998 meeting with Commissioner McGaffigan and responded to issues from the other offices. The revised report was forwarded on August 7.1998 for Commission review and in support of Commission action on SECY-98-100. The com.nents of the Commission and changes to the August 7,1998 report were incorporated into the guidance to staff as reflected in the SRM issued on September 14, 1998.
