Dear Mr. Milam:
Enclosed please find a copy of NRC Inspection Report No. 99900403/88-01 which has recently been released to the public as a result of the completion of General Electric's review for proprietary information, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790.
As you are aware, the concerns raised in your work record while at the General Electric Company were summarized by Mr. Charles Stokes, a consultant for the Government Accountability Project, and formed the basis for our inspections.
A total of five separate inspections were performed at the San Jose facility addressing over 170 separate items, comprised over 950 hours0.011 days <br />0.264 hours <br />0.00157 weeks <br />3.61475e-4 months <br /> of en-site inspec-tion effort, and resulted in identifying eight items of nonconformance.
In addition, several items were addressed which resulted from Congressional concerns over the reactor mode switch, FSAR serification, and fire protection.
In an attempt to provide a matrix of the issues summarized by Mr. Stokes' account of your work record, an appendix has been developed within the 88-01 report.
This inspection report concludes our efforts with respect to concerns raised by yourself and Mr. Charles Stokes.
