NRC/ RIVER BEND STATION MANAGEMENT MEETING

Dear Mr. Edington:

On September 10,1998, the Regional Administrator and NRC Region IV suff met with you and Dwight Mims of your staff to discuss insights into recent River Bend Station performance. This meeting, which was open to the public, was held in the NRC regional office located in Arlington, Texas.

The NRC staff considered the meeting informative and noted that it provided them with a better understanding of activities conducted by the River Bend Station.

in accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
