NRC WELL-LOGGING AND RADIOGRAPHY WORKSHOP The Nuclear Rcgulatory Comission (NRC) is pleased to announce that a workshop has been arranged for well-logging and radiography licensees on September 14 and 15, 1988 at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel. The purpose and objective of the workshop are to review recent regulatory changes and experience relative to these types of activities and to discuss actions to enhance radiological safety. I.1 addition, the workshop will provide a forum for attendees to discuss technical and regulatory issues currently of interest in the industry.
The workshop will be structured with speakers on the first day and an open panel discussion on the morning of the second day, concluding at noon. We encourage attendees to ask questions, present their views and describe their experiences in implementing well-logging and radiogrsphy programs. To aid us in planning the agenda, please identify any questions, comments, or items for the panel discussion on the enclosed registration form and return it to this office by September 1, 1988. A proposed agenda is enclosed for your information.
Should you desire overnight reservations, a small block of rooms has been set up at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel, 401 Sixth Avenue, at a special rate of $65.00 per night (single room). This rate is subject to an 8% local tax and can only be offered for reservations made on or before August 22, 1988. ,
