Dear Mr. Uhlir:
j This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter of August 7,1998, with its enclosure, Final Recommendation of the Nuclear Task Group of the IEEE Standards Coordinating Committee (SCC) 29, related to the above subject and your request to review the proposed ITS and to meet with NRC staff to discuss any issue.
For your information we have in house several Technical Specification Task Force (TSTFs) proposals related to the DC sources for review and we willincorporate your recommendations as appropriate into these ongoing reviews.
NRC staff is ready to meet with SCC 29 Nuclear Task Group and the others involved in the ITS.
By copy of this letter, we are advising the Nuclear Energy institute of the above plan.
