ORNL FINAL LETTER REPORT Attached for your information is a copy of the ORNL final letter report ORNL/NRC/LTR-97-9, "A Characterization of Motor-Operated Valve Degradation in the Nuclear Power Industry for 1993-1995."
This report was prepared in response to NRR user need requests to support the current work on motor operated valve, check valve, and pump performance as related to recorded operational failures in order to access longer intervals between inservice tests. NRR has
' requested that this report be made publicly available. Therefore, the final letter report has been placed in the PDR for public access.
