This is in reference to the July 1,1988, letter from B. D. Vandervalk of the U. S. Department of Transportation, in which she referred to the NRC two documents for disclosure determinations in response to your Freedom of Information Act request dated May 25, 1988.

Document 1 identified on the enclosed appendix is already available in the NRC Public Document Room (POR) located at 1717 H Street, NW, Wa;hington, DC 20555.

I have identified the PDR accession number beside the document descriptioit.

The memorandum identified as document 2 on the enclosed appendix is being placed in the NRC POR in file FOIA-88-357 under your name.
