This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. R. Moist of this office on November 18-22, 1985, of your facility at Huntsville, Alabama and to the discussions of our findings with you and members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The purpose of this inspection was to perform a technical evaluation of your equipment qualification test activities for safety-related equipment and to witnes:1 equipment qualification testing being performed for Tennessee Valley Authority. Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the enclosed report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of an examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observatiens by the inspector.
Within the scope df this inspection, we found no instance where you failed to meet NRC requirements.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
