Joseph H. Farley Nuclear Plant - Units 1 and 2 NRC Inspection of February 22-March 11, 1988 By letter of August 3, 1988, the NRC transmitted a Notice of Violation related to the referenced inspection, requesting a response within 30 days. Due to the research requirements associated with providing a complete response to the issues raised by the NRC in the Notice of Violation, a thirty day extension vill be required. Accordingly, Alabama Pover Company requests that it be permitted to provide the requested response by October 3, 1988.
