The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued a single radioactive material license of broad scope to the USAF Radio-isotope Committee on 26. June 1985, which effectively transfers authority and responsibility for the control of all radioactive material in the Air Force to the Committee. Effective 26 June 1985, all NRC Licenses issued to Air Force organizations are terminated and replaced with USAF Rad io ac ti v e lia t e r ia l Permits.

3.,This letter notification that your previous NRC number %providesf393with expiration date of 31-MAY-84, has License been conv erted to a

USAF Radioactive Material Permit number S${QQF]PMth}'al new ex pir ation date of 31-MAY-84. A new USAF Radioactive Mater'i Permit will be issued to you when your permit expires and you file for a renewal. Your only actions required at t his t ime are to attach this letter to your existing NRC License and to respond by separate correspondence with a verification of receipt of this netification. Send verification letter to HQ AFOMS/SGPR, Brooks AFB TX 782 3 5-5000 within 15 da ys o f rec eipt.

Please note the changc n mailing address for the USAF Radio-isotope Conmittee and fo r wa r d all future corre pondence to this address.
