lhe.ACRS Subcommittee.on Advanced. Reactors will hold an open meeting on. -
September 2 7,--1478 4n Room 1046,1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20555 to continue its review of matters related to the NRC sponsored research on the safety of advanced reactor- designs.. This meeting was rescheduled from September 25, 1978 as announced at 43 FR 36152, August 15, 1978.
In accordance with the procedures outlined in the Federal Register on October 31, 1977 (42 FR 56972), oral or written statements may be presented by members of the public, recordings will be permitted.only during those portions of the meeting when a transcript is being kept, and questions may be asked only by members of the Subcommittee, its consultants, and Staff.
Persons desiring to make oral statements should notify the Designated Federal Employee as far in advance as practicable so that appropriate arrangements can be made to allow the necessary time during the meeting for such statements.
Tne agenda for subject meeting shall be as follows:

7 8:30 a.m. until the conclusion of business.
The Subcommittee may meet in Executive Session, with any of it.a consultants who may be present, to explore and exchange their prelimi-nary opinions regarding matters which should te considered during the meeting and to formulate a report and recommendations to the full Committee.

At the conclusion of the Executive Session, the Subco:rmittee will hear presentations by and hold discussions with representatives

^of the NRC Staff, and their consultants, pertinent-to -the-ebove topics.-
ihe Subcommittee may thenrcaucus to: determine.whether the matters -
identified in the initial session have been adequately covered and whether the project is ready for review by the full Committee.
