Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 2 (TMI-2)
Operating License No. DPR-73 Docket No. 50-320 Annual Update of the System Description and Technical Evaluation Report for the TMI.2 Submerged Demineralizer System As requested by NRC Letter dated February 4, 1982, CPU Nuclear has performed the annual review of the System Description (50) and Technical Evaluation Report (TER) for the THI-2 Submerged Demineralizer System (SDS) and has determined that a revision is not reQuireo at this time.
7.n addition, it should be noted that the SDS has been taken out of service and will no longer process / filter contaminated liquids; however, the following subsystems will remain in operation:
- 1) offgas, vent, and drain, 2) monitor tanks, 3) dewatering station, 4) vacuurn outgassing system, and 5) the Reactor Coclant System manifold.
GPU Nuclear will continue to provide annual updates of the SDS SD and TER if modifications are made to active subsystems.
