Thank you for your letter of July 27. I, too, look forward to my trip to *,he FRG in September and to my meetings with Minister T0pfer, yourself, and other German officials during my visit.
I appreciate hearing that the BMU bas been able to make Dr. Gast available to participate ir the Symposium on Nuclear Power Plant Aging. I am confident that his experience and insights in the nuclear area, and those of other attendees from the FRG, will contribute substantially to the success of the Symposium on this important subject.
I have taken the liberty of forwarding a copy of your letter to Commissioner Rogers, who is planning te visit the FRG in November in connection with the Regulatory Practices and Safety Standards Symposium in Munich.
