Your letters were used by Petitioners who requested emergerr 4;; ze. sun of full power operation of the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant pending completion of rerredial action.
The NRC staff decided that the Petition would be treated as a request for action pursuant to 10 CFR 2.206 of the Comr..ission's regulations and denied %e emergency request. The staff evaluated the information contained in the Petition and denied the request to suspend operation of the Sequoyah Nuclear Power Plant.
The staff evaluated your concerns and replied in the enclosed documents:

Affidavit of Evangelos C. Marinos, dated March 31, 1988.

Respondents' Reply to Petitioners' Brief in Support of the Motion for Temporary Interloctury Injunction, dated April 13, 1988.
