GENERIC ISSUE MANAGEMENT CONTROL SYSTEM FIRST QUARTER FY-86 UPDATE Enclosed is the First Quarter FY-86 update of the Generic Issue Management Control System (GIMCS) for your information and use.
(a). No new issues have been added to GIMCS during this past quarter.
(b) One issue of the seven generic issues schedule for resolution in this-quarter has been closed out. The other six issues (four NRR issues and two Non-NRP. issues) have been rescheduled for resolution in the next quarter.
(c) Se'len generic issues (four' NRR issues and three Non-NRR issues) are scheduled for resolution in the next quarter (see Table 4). These seven issues include'the six issues that have slipped for the previous quarter.
(d)
In addition to the four NRR generic issues rescheduled from the last quarter, seventeen others have slipp9d. The reason for the slippage is provided in the GIMCS sheets. No further action to correct slippages is recommended since most of the issues'are being transferred to new task managers.
Your memorandum of December 30, 1985 authorized transfer of. responsibility for resolving thirty-one generic issues (other than USIs) from the old task managers to the new DSR0 task managers. Responsibility for resolving six other issues remains with the old task managers in their new line organization.

will be completed. The second quarter FY-86 GIMCS sheets will identify the new task manager and the division responsible for resolution.
