TESTIMONY OF BEVERLY HOLLINGWORTH ON BEHALF OF TOWN OF HAMPTON ON SHELTERING CONTENTIONS My name is Beverly Hollingworth and I am the New Hampshire State Representative for District 17, representing the towns of Hampton and Hampton Falls, and have served in this capacity for eight years.

I have resided in the town of Hampton for 45 years, and am a lifelong resident of the New Hampshire Seacoast.

Formerly, I served as President and Director of the Town of Hampton Chamber of Commerce and have personally visited or inspected many businesses, cottages, hotels, and motels throughout Hampton Beach.

At present, I own a motel in Hampton Beach and have been employed as a motel owner or ol,erator in the New Hampshire Seacoast since 1956.

In September, 1987, many business owners in the Hampton Beach area contacted me, as their state representative, to express their anger and concern that their businesses had been designated as h!k
