May 3, 1988-ORDER On April 22, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania filed a motion seeking a thirty day extension of time for the filing of contentions and any amendments to its petition to inter-vene in this proceeding.
Pursuant to a Memorandum and Order of April 8, 1988, these were due on April 25.
In its motion, the Commonwealth indicated that Philadelphia Elec-tric Co. had no objection to its motion, but made no similar represencation with respect to the Staff.
The Board in-quired of Staff and learned that it, too, had no objection.
This order confirms the oral ruling granting the Commonwealth's motion.
In so doing, we wish to make two observations for the guidance of the parties in the future.
First, when requesting an extension of time or similar ruling, the moving party is to indicate in its motion i

' whether the other parties object to the motion, and, if so, whether they will be filing a response in opposition.
Second, requests for extension of time are to be filed as far in advance of the due date as possible.
It is so ORDERED.
