INFORM'. TION PICKET LINE AT SITE Local 520 of the Harrisburg pipefitters union, established an information

, picket line at the north gate entrance to Unit No. 1. Most of the licensee's

! employees have crossed the line and reported to work. Additional guards l have been assigned to the north gate and the State Police are on the scene. Unit No. 1 is operating at full power and has not been affected by this action.

The local is protesting the hiring practices of Mecury Company, a subcon-tractor working on Unit No. 2.

l The media has been in c ntact with Met-Ed public relations. The State l of Pennsylvania his been informed. A press release is not planned.
