ATTAC11 MENT B IMPLEMENTATION REPORT CORE EXIT TIIERMOCOUPLES, UNIT I Status The system was installed during the fall 1986 refueling outage. Functional testing and calibration are complete. Test results are available for inspection. The installation of fully qualified Incore Instrumentation (ICI) strings is to begin with the spring 1988, cycle 10 reload of Unit 1. Sufficient ICI's will V replaced to ensure a minimum of four completely qualified CET channels per core quadrant. Testing will take place during startup. Future replacement of ICI strings with fully qualified strings will result ultimately in the full qualification of all 45 CET channels.
Functional Test Results The system performs in accordance with design expectations and within design error tolerances.
peviations of As-Built System From Desian None Technical Soecifications An amendment request to add the CETs to Unit i Technical Specifications will be submitted shortly after startup from the current refuelin;; outage.
Procedures The Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) have been revised and now include the CETs.
The EOPs were revised using CEN-152, Combustion Engineering Emergency Procedure Guidelines, and our Procedures Generations Package. Operators have been trained on the system and EOPs.
