Inspection No. 99990081/88-01 This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. D. J. Collins of this office on March 16, 1988 at the U. S. Customs Port of Entry, Alexandria Bay, New York, of an irradiated reactor fuel shipment.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspec-tion Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspec-tion consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the Public Document Room.
