The purpose of this modification is to (1) exercise Option Year 2, thereby increasing the period of performance for an additional 12 months, (2) increase the Agreement's total estimated j

amount by $24,150.00 from $83,500.00 to $107,650.00, and (3) request the contractor to use the same acccunting data provided for billing purposes for Option Year 1 for Option Year 2.

Accordingly, this agreement is hereby modified as follows:

Article V, " Level of Effort and Period of Performance. is deleted in its entirety and substituted with the following in lieu thereof:

This Interagency Agreement shall commence on 9/20/96 and expire on 9/17/99, with two additional one year options. The scope of Work set forth in Article I, and the period of performance may be increased as mutually agreed upon by both parties. Any changes shall be incorporated into this Agreement by the issuance of a negotiated l

modification by the NRC Contracting Officer."

Article Vill entitled " Estimated Amount," first sentence, DELETE the amount of

"$83,500.00" and REPLACE with "$107,650.00."

l All other terms and conditions of this Interagency Agreement remain unchanged.

A summary of obligations for this Agreement from Agreement award date through the date of this action is given below.

This modification does not obligate any FY98 funds.
