INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS ACCEPTANCE: This is to advise you that those individuals in Enclosure 1 have beer accepted for participation in the training course (G-109)" Licensing Practices and Procedures." This course is scheduled to be presented September 28 - October 2,1997 at the State Building, 500 Waterfront Drive, Pit;aburgh, Pennsylvania.

COURSE: The course will be conducted beginning at 8:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. each day except for Friday which will end about 12:00 p.m. Course outline is attached.

LQDGING AND TRAVEL: Following is a list of hotels in the vicinity of the State Office Building.

It is suggested that you stay at the Ramada Plaza Suites, One Bigelow Square, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (412) 281-5800. You should plan to arrive on Sunday, September 27,1998 and depart on Friday, October 2,1998. Participants must make their own lodging arrangements.

Individuals should request a State or government employee rata at the hotels.

PA Turnpike Turnpike to exit 5 (Allegheny Valley interchange) to Harmarville,28 South of Pitteburgh.

l Airport l The road from the airport to downtown Pittsburgh (about 15 miles) is one continuous highway, l

but has three different route numbers. From the airport, turn right onto Route 60 (Airport t

Parkway) toward Pittsburgh. Road name becomes U.S. Route 22-30 East later 1-79. About 12

miles from airport you will go down a long steep hill and enter the Fort Pitt Tunnel take left lane and then onto Fort Pitt Bridge. Watch overhead signs for 1-279 (right lane). Exit 28N (Etna).

l Make a right onto 31st Street Bridge. Make immediate right onto River Avenue. Make l

immediate left onto ramp to Washington's Landing. DEP 500 Waterfront Drive on left hand side.

1-79 South to 1-279 South Exit 28N (Etna). At stop sign continue thru, at 2nd light make left onto Ohio River Blvd. At 2nd light (overhead signs 28N) continue straight onto 28N. Make a right onto 31st Street Bridge, Make immediate right onto River Avenue. Make immediate left onto ramp to Washington's Landing. DEP 500 Waterfront Drive on left hand side.  ;

Parkway (Monroeville)

Take parkway (US 22-30) to exit 6 Boulevard of Allies. Follow until splits, stay right onto l Crosstown Boulevard. Follow to 1-579 North. Look for sign Etna % mile take Etna exit. Follow 28N approximately 2 miles. At 2nd light, make a right onto 31st Street Bridge, make immediate  !
