DEOBLIGATION OF EXCESS FUNDS - MODIFICATION NO.1 TO TASK ORDER NO. 2 UNDER CONTRACT NO. NRC-26-93-296 The subject task order expired on April 12,1993, and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is initiating closeout action as reflected in our letter to your organization dated March 6,1998 and July 16,1998. However, pending completion of all required closeout requirements, it is necessary to deobligate the excess funds for other immediate agency requirements. Therefore, a unilateral decision has been made by the Ce,a..n uing Officer to deobligate the excess funds under the subject task order in the amount of $10,210.36, thereby decreasing the amount obligated from $59,902.00 to $49,691.64. We are retaining $587.85 which is 15% of the fixed fee pending final closeout.
