June 28, 1982 we received a reque e from Patricia A. Oempsey, Assistant County Attorney, Oepart=ent cf Law (copy atta:hed).
We wish to point out that these documents cc:a frc= cany filss and over the years are c.istributed to the Federal and 3 tate agency personnel re-questing them for the purpose of meeting grant criteria for the Federal Emergency Management's various Civil Defense Programs. Planning is one of the mandated areas for Civil Defense Emergencies. These plans are coordinated through NY3 Division of hilitary t.nd Naval Affairs, Office of Disaster Preparedness the state ad-4nistrator for the Federal Emer-gency Management Agency.
The documents you request in your Memorandus dated July 23, 1982 were fer-warded (hand carried) to Patricia A. Derpsey's office en July 9,1982.
We have the copies here that have been kept aside un.il further requests for them are no li:nger fortheeming.
Evidently Patricia Dempsey, Assistant County Atto:ney is collecting the data at her office for presentation to you per your Mamorar.dum.
