Dear Mr. Shea:
I wish to inform you that subsequent to my affidavit of 19 February 1988 in response to the NRC Demand for Information dated February 2,
1988, there will be a change in the shareholding of Transnuclear, Inc.
On March 29, an agreement was reached whereby Transnucleaire, S.A., a French corporation and 50% shareholder of the voting stock of Transnuclear, Inc.,
will purchase from Transnuklear, GmbH, a
West German corporation, the 50% of voting stock in Transnuclear, Inc., held by Transnuklear, GmbH.
When the transfer takes place shortly, Transnucleaire, S.A.
will hold 100% of the voting stock of Transnuclear, Inc.
Please consider this letter to be advance notification of the impending change.
A formal notification will be made to the NRC upon conclusion of the transfer.
We appreciate the confidence that the staff has in Transnuclear, Inc. as a reliable licensee.
I want to take this opportunity to assure you again that Transnuclear, Inc.
will continue to comply with all applicable NRC license requirements as we have in the past.
