A situation has occurred which I must call to your attention.
Prior to onc of my witnesses being deposed last week, attorneys who were employees of LILCO interviewed the witness's wife, who is employed by LILCo.
In their interview these attorneys sought to ascertain infomation as to the role her husband, the witness, would be taking in the subject proceeding and the nature of his testimony.
It would seem to me that this is most improper inasmuch as it was an intimidating attempt to reach confidential communications between husband and wife as well as info mation between the witness and his counsel.
I expect that this will not be repeated.
