Inspection, Test, and operating status Inspection, test, and operating statue of packa6es for certain special form radioactive material will be indicated and controlled by written procedures. Status will be indicated by tag, label, marking, or log entry. Status of nonconforming parts or packa6es will be positively maintained by written procedures.

Radio 6raphy personnel shall perform tha regulatcry required inspections and tests in accordance with written procedures. The Radiation Safety Officer shall ensure that these functi3ns are perferned.

6 Quality Assurance Recods ReccMs of packa6e approvals, procurement, inspections, tests, operatin6 legs, atriit results, personnel training and qualifications and records of shipments will be raintained. Descrip; ions of equipment and written pro-cedures will also be maintained.
