July 7, 1988 Rep. Dcug Bereuter State Capitol Building Lincoln, NE Dear Representative Bereuter It is my understanding that the Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plant in Omaha is a real and certain danger to the community.

It is my understanding also that the plant has had several violations in saftey and that it has been paying fines due to safety problems.

Please look into this matter and find out if there is a problem with safety in the plant.

If the plant is not safe, in my opinion, it should be closed.

Awaiting your reply.
